1、shoot [ʃu:t]普通用词。一般指子弹发射
①This is just a toy gun: it doesn't shoot.
这只是玩具枪并不能发射子弹。
②He shoot at a bird, but missed it.
他开枪瞄准一只鸟，但没有打中。
2、launch[lɔːntʃ] 正式用语。一般指火箭、导弹、飞船、卫星的发射。
The Shenzhou Eleven Spacecraft launch successfully.
神舟11号发射成功。
3、fire 开火、点燃，衍伸为枪火发射。
She fired her gun at enemy.
她开枪向敌人发射。
4、let (sth )fly
字面意思是“让...飞”，可联想到电影<让子弹飞>（Let The Bullets Fly）
①They let fly a shower of arrows[ˈærəʊ].
他们发射一阵箭。
②The troops [t'ru:ps]let fly a volley [ˈvɑ:li] of gunfire.
部队进行了雨点般的扫射。
5、lift off基本意思指起飞，可延伸为火箭、信号弹、飞船、卫星的发射。
①15 minutes to go before the rocket lifts off.
离火箭发射还有15分钟。
②The distressed lifted off a signal flare. [fleə(r)]
遇难者发射一发信号弹。
6、sent (up/out/forth)
①When are they going to send up the rocket?
他们准备什么时候发射火箭？
②He can't help sending love to her.
他忍不住向她发射爱意。
7、transmit 基本意思是“传送”，衍伸为发射；常指光波、电波的发射
The device is not designed to transmit to satellites.
该设备不是为向卫星发射信号而设计的。
8、emit[iˈmɪt]
"e"是“ex”前缀的变体，意为“out”(脱离、向外)；
The radio stations emit energy into the air.
无线电站把能量发射到空中。
9、blast off
"blast"的基本意思是爆破，“blast off ”指火箭、飞船发射升空。
We waited in great anticipation[ænˌtɪsɪˈpeɪʃn] for the ship to blast off.
我们怀着极大的期望等待飞船的发射。
